Everyone is downloading for free. Since they arent making money off albums how do they get money?

They go on tour. Honestly I think that is how it should be anyway. I mean they complain about illegal downloads which I understand is hurting their business but did they complain when you could take a cassette tape and record it off the radio? No because people were still buying but nowadays the economy sucks so people spend their money elsewhere. Also they do get money from sites like itunes and other download sites and still some sales from cds. It just isn’t like it used to be.
