Capital gain tax for stock, futures and forex investment in australia?
Question by First: Capital gain tax for stock, futures and forex investment in australia?
Did anyone knows if capital gain tax on stock, futures and forex investment is exempted for alien non-residence in Australia? Asking this because I plan to open a trading account with an australia broker but I live in SEA region.

I don’t know how it is in Australia. But I do know how it is in USA and UK.
I have both forex accounts in the two countries.
They are good, under strict regulations.
For three years experience in Forex, I’ve never heard of anything like tax, the IM never asked for tax deducted from my balance, I just fax them the withdraw form and get money to my bank account.
It’s just the same as in your country. WHy don’t you open an account in US or UK?
Oanda is good. I am using FXCM in UK. You can check it.
